1.5.0 has been released

1.5.0 has been released at 2019/7/01. This version has bug fixes, and also, weather forecast feature is provided as a beta feature. In addition, implemented support feature for location information entering and minor UI design updates.

1. Weather forecast feature

As a new feature, weather forecast view has been implemented, it shows weather forecast for each point.

At brevet, travel at least 200 km at a time of 13.5 hours. Therefore, it is not possible to grasp the weather condition of the whole course with the weather forecast of a certain point. Brevet manager will obtain and list the corresponding weather forecast for each point from the estimated arrival time and point location information. The weather forecast view can be displayed from the planning and tracking view.

See details in Weather forecast page.

2. Supporting feature for entering location information

The ability to enter point location information has been enhanced. By loading the route track file, brevet manager show the neighborhood position by assuming from the position distance.

Until now, when entering the position information, the current position was displayed first, and then had to scroll to the position of the point. Version 1.5 assume near location from the distance of the point. It makes easier to enter point location.

In this example, the distance for PC1 is 30.0 km. The position of 30.0km on the route is displayed at first as the center position of the map. You can save time and effort to scroll the screen.

In order to use the weather forecast feature, it is necessary to set the location information for each point. This enhancement it is very easy to set the location.

3. Arrival time calculation logic has been changed at 0 minutes staying

There is a setting of "Time unit" in this application. It is setting for round up arrival time. For example, in case of  the rounding up time is set to 5 minutes,  it will be rounded up to 45 minutes, if the arrival time is calculated to be 42 minutes.

By specifying the stay time as 0 minutes, we corrected the logic to cancel the time round-up of the arrival time to that point and calculate in 1 minute units,

This is useful when you want to automatically record only the transit time of a specific point using auto arrival detection feature. In order to record automatically, it is necessary to create a point for that. But by adding points means that round up feature add noise to total arrival time. By specifying 0 minutes as the staying time for such points, this rounding up unit is canceled, the arrival time is calculated in 1 minute units, and it is possible to reduce the noise to the estimate of the total running time.

4. UI update for auto arrival ON / OFF setting

In previous screen designs, it was difficult to identify whether location information was only given to points or whether auto arrival detection was also ON. Version 1.5 provides automatic arrival ON / OFF setting as a separate item.

Marker is gray: Point position information is not set

Marker is green: Position information is set
Automatic detection is ON: Arrival is detected automatically

Marker is green: Position information is set
Automatic detection is off: Automatic detection is not performed for arrival

Marker is green: Position information is set
Arrival information area blinks green: Automatic detection in progress
Automatic detection STOP button display: During automatic detection, a button to stop it
